My work as a writer is….

Posted by Liz March 1st, 2013

hard to sum up: I write about CEO’s for Inc Magazine, and violence against women for women’s magazines (Cosmo, Glamour, Redbook and more) I also do investigative health reporting–my most recent story about women who fake ADHD symptoms to get a prescription for Adderall is in the March 2013 issue of Self and a story on snacking in in the March issue of Ladies Home Journal. I am always on the hunt for stories, so if you have a good one, feel free to get in touch!

  1. Hi Liz, I saw your article on a people who never stop eating and I wanted to share with you a thought I had about a year ago. We are a non profit 501c-3 helping women and children of Africa. The thought came to me that if people here in the States could cut a snack a day and then donate that dollar (and the calories) to the woman and children of Africa we could help solve two issues.

And if you cut the snack, it does not impact their budget and if you take the average calorie of that snack or soda over a years’ time you will be keeping over 43 pounds of calories out of your body and giving those calories to the children of Africa.

I would love to talk with you and get your thoughts.

  3. Hi Liz, I still think about you quite a bit and would love to do something with you. I still have a copy of LHJ on my desk reminding me that we should chat. Our work with to combat the scarce and contaminated water issues around the world and especially how it affects young women has increased to 10 countries with a few more on the immediate horizon. What is the best way for us to get together? Thanks
